If I Knew

My Late Baby Boy Eric,

Gone too soon……You are definitely missed by a million people….need I say much Cartoon?

If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you fall asleep,I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord Your soul to keep.If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out of that door,I would give you a kiss and a hug and call you back for one more.If only I knew it would be last time  I’d hear your voice,I would video tape every action and word so I could play them back day after day.

For surely there is always tomorrow to make for an oversight and we get a second chance to make everything right.I wish there would be another day to say our I love you’s and certainly another chance to say our anything I do’s.But just incase I might be wrong,n today is all I get,I’d like to say how much I loved you and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old and today maybe your last chance to hold your loved ones tight. So if you are waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?for if tomorrow never comes, you’ll surely regret the day that if u dint take any extra time for a smile, hug or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone what would have turned out to be their last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today and whisper in their ear that you love them very much and you’ll always hold them dear.Take time to say ‘I’m sorry’,’please forgive me’,’thank you’ or ‘its okay’ and if tomorrow never comes, you’ll have no regret about today.

With love n painful tears,I’m gonna MISS You forever my Love….

I am the program assistant for the Education and Youth Empowerment unit and a communication specialist supporting the Immunization Advocacy Initiative at the African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC) in Nairobi. Reading makes me feel all geeky and I love it, traveling is my way of giving back to myself, being there for my family makes me feel complete, achieving my objectives makes me feel content and my cooking is tops! Writing does the therapy magic for me and acknowledges my learning process. It feels good to share my experiences with the World! The Lord is my everything! & I love my family!
